Swimming data
We use brookvale recreation centre for our school swimming lessons. Due to our location, we are abe to walk to swimming each week. All KS2 classes receive a block of swimming lessons. Children in Year 6 receive booster lessons in the summer term if they are not yet able to swim 25m competently.
Below is our swimming data.
Meeting national curriculum requirements for swimming and water safety.
N.B. Complete this section to your best ability. For example you might have practised safe self-rescue techniques on dry land which you can then transfer to the pool when school swimming restarts. Due to exceptional circumstances priority should be given to ensuring that pupils can perform safe self rescue even if they do not meet the other two requirements.
