On 3rd May Dave from 'A Quiet Place' came to talk to us about 'mindfulness'. He told us this means we have a greater awareness of ourselves and the world around us and having an activity that can focus our attention on the present can improve our mental wellbeing.

He demonstrated some activities we can use on our school computers that will focus our 'heart breathing'.

 Mindfulness might simply be described as choosing and learning to control our focus of attention, and being open, curious and flexible.
