Behaviour

At Gorsewood Primary School, we have high expectations for all children and expect everybody to follow our school rules:

Be Your Best Self

Be Respectful

Be Safe

Be Ready

Be Resilient

Be Reflective

Our school rules are rules for life and we believe they should be followed in everything we do, whether we are in school or not.

We have a trauma informed approach to our behaviour management and treat all children as individuals.  We have a nurturing ethos and support all children so they can be their best self in all they do.  Our older children have their own personal Thrive in 5 Steps to use when they need to re-focus or have a break.  We also use Zones Of Regulation to help children understand their feelings and build strategies to use when they are finding things difficult.
