Binary Code

Lesson: Information and communication technology

Class: Year 6 Year: 2015 - 2016

A computer is run by a Central Processing Unit (CPU) - it's the like the brain of the computer. The CPU is made up of lots of little switches that can be either on or off. The CPU only understands 'Binary Code'. Binary code is made up of 1's (on) and 0's (off). We have been on a binary code treasure hunt around school today to help up with our coding skills.
