Cronton College Halton Games Day ' Road to Rio'

Wow! What an exciting day of sport we had...

Year 2 and Year 4 spent the day at Cronton College in Widnes taking part in a variety of sporting activities. This was to celebrate sport with a focus on the upcoming Olympics in Rio, Brazil.

Gorsewood was 1 of 10 schools to take part in a 'round robin' of activities on 4 football pitches ( have a look at the picture of the task board). Each task we tried lasted for 10 minutes, some of them we had never explored before!

It was great fun but very tiring! We stayed hydrated by drinking lots of water... Very important.
