So yesterday, Year 4 got a bit green-fingered! Having planted a variety of veg earlier this year, the veg was dug up and put to good use. We explored the different vegetables by observing, touching, smelling and even tasting them - we enjoyed a delicious soup - and each chose a few to take home.
So please, share what you did with yours! Perhaps you added a bit of beetroot to your scouse? Or maybe the pet rabbit enjoyed a carrot for lunch? Whatever is was, we hope you've all enjoyed your children's handiwork - well done, Year 4!

I'm not very green fingered at all year 4 so I'm looking forward to reading about what you have been doing with your vegetables.
I have had a nice time growing all of them we got really messy and covered in mud! I took home a Tomato, Carrot. So I hope we go and visit back .Unfortunately I had to throw my Tomato away ( it didn't taste nice) :( but I had a great time!
when I got the veg I went to Leos house for tea with Taylor then my mum picked me up from Leos house and then went home and then my mum had her tea then I asked " can I try beetroot " mum: no because I ate it for my tea" then I was fuming!
Thanks for the soup I loved it hope to try it again soon! Also the marrow was massive the pea pods were brown pink and even black. What did you do with your veg? Did you get any.

I gave my bunny the carrot, first I chopped the carrot and she ate five pieces like it was the last thing she will eat, me and my dad ordered a dominoes pizza with nothing on and we put cheese , ham and the tomato from school. (it was yummy).
