 Did you know that at least 8 million tonnes of plastic enters the ocean every year killing over 1 million marine animals like turtles,birds and many more sea animals?Lets see if we can change that?
Pollution is affecting not only the animals but us to. The plastic is going into landfill and the ocean or some times gets burnt. It is a very long time until it breaks down. It takes 500,000 years to break down which means, we’re running out of space to bury it.
We are trying to have limited single-use plastic. So we have a big recycle bins. We tell everyone to use reusable bottles and we use reusable cups now to. Now almost everyone in the school is using reusable bottles and lunch bags - including the teacherss!
We can change this whole world if we wanted to but we need your help!!!
We need to not use single use plastic but we need you to help us by having reusable bottles and not using carrier bags to use for shopping and lunch. Have a reusable lunch box and use a bag for life that will last you longer.
