Leavers Assembly 2016

Date: 12th Jul 2016 @ 2:32pm

The Year 6 Leavers Assembly is always one of the most emotional occasions in the Gorsewood Primary School calendar. Saying farewell to the 2016 school leavers proved to be no exception.

We like to approach this momentous occasion with a positive outlook. Although we are incredibly sad to be saying goodbye to pupils, many of whom have been with us since their Nursery days, there are some fantastic opportnities that lay ahead at secondary schools.

We are incredibly proud of all of our year 6 pupils who have literally worked their socks this year and we wish them well for the future. We hope that they remember they will forever be a part of the Gorsewood Family and we look forward to welcoming them back in the future to share their achievments with us.

Goodbye & Good Luck

The yr 6 leavers assembly was fantastic. Well done to all the teachers and kids. I was a crying mess by the time i left and all the way home lol. Charlie has done so much in her time at gorsewood and i want to thank all the teachers for everything they have done for her. I am so proud of what she has achieved and who she has become with all your help and she knew you believed in her. Thank you to everyone at Gorsewood, for everything.

What a great assembly today, I loved seeing how far our kids have come, the slide shows were great x and I had a good giggle at your music video, which I needed because I was a blubbering mess at the end of it !! Thank you for looking after Alice throughout her years at Gorsewood, she's loved every minute.
